Ankush Bhandari joined Scoular in May 2025 as Vice President of Economic Research, bringing more than 25 years of expertise in commodity research, trading, strategy, and risk management. He leads Scoular’s global research across grain, oilseed, livestock and biofuel markets, delivering actionable insights on supply-demand forecasts, price outlooks, trade flows, policy and transportation dynamics.

Before joining Scoular, Ankush spent 20+ years with Viterra (formerly Gavilon/ConAgra Trade Group), where he rose to Vice President of Economic Research. He built and led a high-performing team that produced advanced acreage analysis, yield modeling, and global trade forecasts—insights that shaped corporate strategy, guided commercial and trading decisions, and informed thousands of producers annually. Earlier in his career, Ankush was a commodity trader at ConAgra Trade Group, where he managed futures and options positions, pioneered risk management programs, and developed proprietary tools that optimized profitability across multiple business units.
