Christine M. Cochran
As president, Ms. Cochran is responsible for managing the association and working with the Board of Directors to develop and implement the Council's Action Plan. Ms. Cochran also serves as coordinator for the Alliance for Agricultural Growth and Competitiveness and as the ag section co-chair for Women In International Trade. She received her juris doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center and is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics.
Vice President of Policy & Government Relations
Sanjeev Y. Joshipura
As Vice Presdient of Policy & Government Relations, Mr. Joshipura is responsible communicating the industry's views to the U.S. Congress and Administration. Prior to joining the Commodity Markets Council, he worked on the U.S. Congress Joint Economic Committee and the U.S. House of Representatives Budget Committee. Mr. Joshipura obtained his MBA from the University of Toronto in Canada, and his interest in financial markets and economics further led him to obtain a Certificate in Financial Risk Management at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.
